We enjoyed another learning session on our third workshop session and again we heard some wonderful speeches from all of you. The tentativeness that some of you displayed during your first speeches was transformed into confidence and better speech structure. A number of you also displayed fitting body gestures and vocal variety. Our Toastmaster of the day Terry Teng introduced each session well. Sharanya led off with Table Topics and all speechcrafters participated in the session. DTM Richard Sng followed with the main topic “Working with Words” showing how language is essential for great speeches.

Here were the winners:

  1. Best Table Topics Speaker – Prisca Chong. Runners-up: Koh Lam Seng and Priscilla Chong
  2. Best Prepared Speech – Lim Chuen Siang and Koh Lam Seng
  3. Best Introducers – Prisca Chong and Josephine Pillai
  4. Best Evaluator – Shahul Nilar
